Oldies – but Goodies?
I am dusting off some oldies for the heck of it. I am not sure they are goodies. But I am sure that mommas should not let their babies grow up to be cowboys.
Old, odd ones: (update 2021: took down PDFs due to lots of downloading. Please contact me for requests, thanks.)
Cheeseplease 1994 – a prose-poem stream-of-consciousness altered-states thang. Written in one sitting on dirty carpet in an empty room at the Judd house on the Apple IIe perched on a white plastic chair that about tipped over while I wrote it. I had no idea what I’d just written and kind of still don’t.
Jim Jack or Joe – 1998 – a short short story – 1500 words, stylized, cold, funny, strange. I like it for a few reasons.
These are short – read ’em and leave some feedback – squares!
