Dust Jacket photo collages
Here’s a sampling of a series of simple collages I made from great dust jackets I’ve come across in book scouting. I have much more raw material for another “Stuff I found in Books” post, a dozen posts really, but for now here are a few. I’m usually fairly good about preserving the source material in the original back cover, though I no longer have the source for Dr. JMP, which is a shame. If you know who this guy is please let me know, he is a special maniac.
Going to try to freeze my fingers now and not over-comment on the photos, all tumblr style like a regular blog.Maybe I’ll just comment Fuck Yeah – Dust Jackets! but somehow I don’t think that’ll catch.

For this one I have to show the cover as well
two more that round out the composition:
Thomas N. Scorcia and Curtis Wood Jr.
And then there’s this
Goodnight.
What can you say about this? It’s brilliant. These are kick ass. I especially like Thomas Scortia.
