Open Letter redux

Don’t mind him. He’s just mad he’s no longer attached to his body. An old charcoal drawing cropped and  ‘shopped for your viewing pleasure.

But onto the purpose of this post: I’ve been messing with text manipulation, trying out some more visual methods related to the white and black space on a page of text and have come up with some stuff I really like. More soon but for now please witness the “re-contextualizing” – (couldn’t resist) of an old piece from the early 90’s, previously offered in the letters post (scroll down.) This poem was originally published in the South Ash Press.

Open Letter to Anyone but Bob Dyaln or Hakeem Olajuwon (original text, click thumb below for new version.)

And I thank you. And Hakeem Olajuwon thanks you.
